The biggest late addition for this 2019 Oklahoma State football recruiting class between the Early Signing Period and National Signing Day was four-star Katy High School running back Deondrick Glass. This is truly the type of incoming freshman skill position talent that will standout immediately for the Pokes.

It seemed like Glass was down to Oklahoma State and the Alabama Crimson Tide when he essentially announced his version of his finalist schools. But, Alabama had a very strong haul for this recruiting cycle at running back. Head coach Nick Saban even landed the commitment and signing of the nation’s top 2019 high school running back, five-star Trey Sanders.

When it came down to it, the only competition that Oklahoma State really had to worry about before landed Glass’s commitment was a late run from the Texas Longhorns. But, Oklahoma State was able to seal the deal with Glass and get him to sign his National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day. Oklahoma State got the nation’s No. 13 high school running back with Glass.

And, the departures of King and Hill allows Oklahoma State to bring in the perfect new trio of running backs to headline the offense. Rising sophomore running back Chuba Hubbard will be joined by the dynamic Jackson and the agile Glass. All three bring different skill sets for the offense, but Glass is definitely going to have the highest ceiling of them all.
