1. Kyler Murray –– Oklahoma

Coming in at the top spot in the 2019 quarterback class is no other than Heisman trophy winner Kyler Murray.

Murray became the second consecutive quarterback from Oklahoma to take home the hardware for the best college football player and could very well be the second straight Oklahoma product to be drafted with the first overall pick.

His NFL Draft prospects were originally up in the air as he was primed to join the Oakland Athletics after being draft pick of theirs last year. However, Murray flipped the script and gravitated in the direction of playing professional football.

Much like Haskins, Murray only spent one season as the starting quarterback, but this definitely wasn’t a factor in him putting on an electrifying show.

Dueling as a passer and a runner, Murray was the talk of college football as he dazzled with his elite athleticism. He totaled 54 total touchdowns in 2018 –– 42 passing and 12 rushing.

Yardage wise, he threw for 4,361 passing yards while picking up 1,001 yards on the ground. Most impressively, he had less than 300 passing attempts and completed 69 percent of his passes.

Measuring just 5-foot-10, he is much smaller than most quarterbacks that play at the pro level, but he has some much raw and pure skill to offer that it’s hard not to make him a top pick.

Everything that Murray does just looks easy and natural. He’s very active moving around the pocket and for his size, has a plus arm.

He’s a kind of quick-twitch player that wastes zero motion –– every motion he makes has little to no impurities.

Simply put, he’s a can’t miss prospect and his play style reflects that of his predecessor, Baker Mayfield.

Upsides: Elite athleticism, arm, accuracy, decision making, active feet

Downsides: Size seems to be one of the only things that could hold him back
