6. Marquise Brown –– Oklahoma

Marquise Brown was a key cog in the machine that was the nation’s leading offense produced by the Oklahoma Sooners.

As a 2018 First Team All-American, Brown lit up the stat sheet with 75 receptions for 1,318 yards and 10 scores.

Despite being undersized for a prototypical NFL receiver at 5-foot-10, 168 pounds, Brown is quite possibly the fastest wideout in the draft.

He has the appropriately coined “Hollywood” nickname is a perfect description of his playstyle  He’s extremely shifty, slippery and hard to take down with the ball in his hands.

If he gets a step on a defender, he can effortlessly blow gash a defensive secondary. His breakaway speed truly sets him apart from the other receivers in the draft pool.

Even on simple routes, he is capable of making the catch and dancing around the defense to find an opening to accelerate to top speed.

As a volatile offensive threat, Brown had several games in which he put on a clinic. Most impressively, in half the games he played in during the 2018 season, Brown posted at least 100 yards –– and often much more than that.

Utilizing a 17.6 yards per catch average, Brown manufactured a string of three straight games with more than 130 yards. He also had a mind-boggling 243 yards and two touchdowns against West Virginia.

NFL teams that are desperate for an instant igniter and playmaking force to an offense should strongly consider Brown as a legitimate option.
