Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams had one great season for Alabama, but it was enough for him to leave early as a redshirt sophomore. It should pay off for him as a top-five pick.

Williams took a redshirt his first year and played in 11 games in 2017. Last season was a breakout year for Williams. He tallied 71 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and eight sacks. He was a unanimous All-American selection along with winning the Outland Trophy. With a national championship from 2017 and the accolades, Williams decided to forego his last two year’s of eligibility and enter the draft early.

Williams has a great explosion off the ball, is quick and can also use his power to win battles. Alabama rotated Williams all along their defensive front and he succeeded in all positions. His versatility will be an asset for his future NFL team. Williams has the potential to be a Pro Bowl type of player and should be a disruptive force in the league for years to come.
