Surprise, surprise. Another Clemson Tiger on this list. Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins is arguably the best Clemson defensive lineman in this year’s draft.

Wilkins was a dominant force for his four years at Clemson. A three-year starter, three-time first time All-ACC and two-time All-American, Wilkins was always a presence in opponents backfields. He finished his collegiate career with 192 tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, 15 passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He even added some rushing stats his senior year, carrying the ball three times and finding the end zone twice.

For a 315 pound man, Wilkins is extremely agile. His moves along the defensive line make him look like a smaller human. He is extremely athletic and has a great nose for the football. On the field prowess aside, Wilkins has an endearing personal story. At age 15, his grandfather, who was his primary male influence in his life, was accidentally killed by police. Wilkins wears the number 42 to honor his grandfather’s birth year.

Wilkins’ athletic ability, character and leadership will make any team lucky to have him. He projects to be taken in the top 15 of the first round.
