Buffalo Bills. Ed Oliver. 9. player. 16. . DT

The bills have pressing needs on both sides of the line and you could flip a coin to determine whether they will draft Jawaan Taylor out of Florida to protect franchise quarterback Josh Allen, or focus on their defense and select arguably the second most talented player in the draft in Ed Oliver. Oliver would be a value pick and a smart one at that.

The Bills defense gave up the sixth most rushing touchdowns last year (16) and Oliver has shown that he needs to command double-teams and sometimes triple-teams to keep him away from the ball carrier.

He finished his career in Houston with 192 total tackles and 13.5 sacks. He does have a few concerns including his character, after getting into a heated argument with former Houston head coach Major Applewhite during the nationally televised game.

While the Patriots look to be the team to beat in the division for the next two or three years, the Bills could be setting themselves up for future playoff appearances by plugging in a defensive star like Oliver.
