45. . CB. Denver Broncos. DeAndre Baker. 10. player

Does anyone know what John Elway is doing? After signing Case Keenum to a free agent deal last year to be their quarterback of the present, the Broncos just traded a fourth-round pick to Baltimore for an overrated Joe Flacco.

The Broncos defense is still in win-now mode but we have to wonder why Elway would throw away such a valuable pick for a quarterback who hasn’t done anything of note since winning the Super Bowl.

Instead of drafting a quarterback of the future or picking up another weapon for the offense the Broncos will look to draft potential shutdown corner DeAndre Baker out of Georgia.

Baker is a stud at the cornerback position and his ability to take over games by keeping the opponents’ number one receiver out of sync all day. He posted two interceptions and nine passes broken up this season, and the Bulldogs gave up just 180 yards per game through the air.

If the Broncos don’t select a player that can help their secondary look for them to likely trade out of this spot as a few teams are potentially looking to move up to the 10 spot.
