53. . ILB. Cleveland Browns. Devin White. 17. player

The Cleveland front office has had miscues with coaches, but they have drafted cornerstone pieces on both sides of the ball. The defense is spearheaded by Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward, while the offense has Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Jarvis Landry. Kareem Hunt will also be in the mix pending suspension, so where does this leave the Browns on draft day?

They could trade up to select another impactful rookie in the top-10, but the smarter play would be to stay at this position and draft the best middle linebacker in the draft in Devin White.

White is a top-10 talent that has the opportunity to fall to the Browns at 17. He is very instinctive and can make plays all over the field. His sideline to sideline speed made him one of the best linebackers in college football and he finished his career with 286 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

Pittsburgh’s window looks to be closing with Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown both seeking new teams, and the Ravens just traded Joe Flacco and have a quarterback that can’t throw the ball down the field.

If the Browns don’t go with another piece for the defense look for them to target a receiver for Baker Mayfield.
