player. 31. . QB. New York Giants. Dwayne Haskins. 6

There is a strong scenario that the Giants will trade up to get into the top three of the draft. They will select their quarterback of the future in Dwayne Haskins.

The Giants had the number two overall pick last year but instead of taking Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen they took Saquon Barkley the dynamic running back out to Penn State. Although the pick was widely scrutinized it looks like a better choice now that Haskins should be available.

Having a three-headed monster of Haskins, Barkley and Odell Beckham will put fear in the hearts of NFC East defensive coordinators.  Although he was recruited into Urban Meyers spread offense Haskins is clearly a pro-style quarterback who can make a lot of the throws you need to succeed in the NFL.

He set school and Big Ten records with an amazing season while finishing third in the Heisman Trophy race. He threw for 50 touchdowns and nearly 5,000 yards as the Buckeyes capped off the season with a Rose Bowl victory.

There isn’t any other choice at this spot for the New York Giants because either they will stay put and draft Haskins or trade up to make sure they grab him.
