Ohio State Football 2019 Mock Draft: Where will the Buckeyes land?
By Phil Poling
The Houston Texans finally found a long-term solution at quarterback when they drafted Clemson’s Deshaun Watson in 2017, but keeping him up-right in the pocket and healthy the past two years has been a task the Texans have failed at. Drafting Ohio State’s Michael Jordan would help address this issue.

Jordan played both guard and center for the Buckeyes over his three years in Columbus, starting 14 games at center and 26 at left guard. His best football came from the guard position, but he possesses the size at 6-foot-6 to play anywhere along the front.
While he’ll need plenty of polishing at center or tackle, Jordan should be able to step in on Day 1 and contribute at guard, much like he did at Ohio State. In 2016, Jordan garnered immediate playing time and was the first freshman lineman to start for the Buckeyes since Hall of Famer Orlando Pace.
