Florida State has had its fair share of talented defensive ends over the years, but you can bet Harlon Barnett is excited to have an upperclassman like Janarius Robinson back.

As a freshman in 2017, he played in just three games and recorded four tackles and his first career sack. As a sophomore, he multiplied his tackles by nearly seven, finishing the season with 27 and another sack. He may have become much more of a presence last season, but he hasn’t quite broken out yet, but that will soon change.

There’s talk that he’s been more of a leader along that defensive line this spring and that’s a good first step. He can now use that 6-foot-5, 260-pound monster frame to shut rush opposing quarterbacks and finish with more than a single sack which he had in each of his first two years.

Brian Burns is gone which means Robinson will get his shot in the starting lineup on the opposite side of Joshua Kaindoh.

This Florida State defensive line could be scary in 2019, if not completely underrated.
