There isn’t much hype surrounding the Mountaineer senior in the pre-draft process, but Jennings proved his worth on the field over the past two seasons by amassing 151 catches and over 2,000 receiving yards. Jennings was a chain-mover in 2017 when he averaged only 11.3 yards-per-catch and scored once, but proved he can work down the field too and scored 13 touchdowns on 17 yards-per-catch this past season.

At 6-foot-1 and 214 lbs., Jennings is the prototypical NFL wide receiver. He may be a shade shorter than what teams prefer, but his 4.42 40-yard-dash should balance things out. Jennings’ ability to play both outside or in the slot is a bonus for team’s thinking about him, too.

The Colts already have one elite weapon at the position in T.Y. Hilton, but adding a player like Jennings opposite him could open things up for the entire offense. And if Jennings takes a little longer to develop, he’s shown an ability to contribute as a return man or a gunner.
