Varys

Boy looking at Varys with hair is quite unsettling.

Played by Conleth Hill, Varys is Game of Thrones’ top insider. No one has their ear to the ground more than Varys, with spies, or sources, throughout the seven kingdoms who report back to him with information.

Varys always seems to be ahead of the competition. He gets the scoops before mostly anyone. There are others who have little birds throughout the kingdoms, but Varys’s sources always seem to be better, and you can always trust his information. You can also always trust that he has the best interests of the people at heart.

Varys is Bruce Feldman, one of college football’s top insiders. Feldman has jumped around a bit much like Varys, going from gigs at ESPN and Fox before landing at The Athletic, but he’s still the same reporter. Feldman has his finger on the pulse of college football, often breaking news before any other reporter.

You can trust that the information Feldman gets has been thoroughly vetted, and the information he presents is true, with a knack for separating truth from rumor.
