Game of Thrones characters as College Football programs and figures
Sansa Stark
Sansa, played by Sophie Turner, is one of Game of Thrones’ most polarizing characters, one sure to invoke a lot of debate around the many decisions she has made. She’s undoubtedly been through the ringer, going through years of abuse from failed relationships with Joffrey and Ramsey.
Sansa made a lot of missteps on her own along the way, but it could be argued that everything she did was to ensure her own survival. The years of abuse have only made her stronger, though, and she has finally emerged from the other side stronger than ever before.
Sansa left the safe cocoon of Winterfell, venturing out into the dangerous world in hopes of rising up further than the comfy perch she had already established. Through a couple of relationships that were doomed from the start, Sansa finally found her way back home.
Sansa is UCLA head coach Chip Kelly. After a lot of success at Oregon, Kelly departed the safe cocoon of Eugene to try his hand at the NFL. After a couple of failed relationships with the Eagles and 49ers, Kelly has finally found his way back home to college football, the place he belonged the whole time.
It’s fair to question at this point whether or not Kelly is actually stronger than ever before. His first team at UCLA went 3-9, and early struggles on the recruiting trail have left doubt to whether or not he can build the Bruins back into a powerhouse, replicating the success he had with the Ducks.
