Jonah Williams. 9. player. 16. . Offensive Line. Alabama Crimson Tide

With all the defensive talent at the top of the draft, the Buffalo Bills couldn’t be in a better position at No. 9 overall. They’ll be able to either address issues on their offense or draft the best-player-available, potentially a defender.

The Bills’ defense allowed just the second-fewest yards in 2018, making the selection of Alabama offensive lineman Jonah Williams an easy move with their first round pick. They could gamble on a high-upside defender or grab a wide receiver, but stabilizing the offensive line for franchise quarterback Josh Allen is a must; Williams will aid in that.

He started 44 games in three years at Alabama, 29 at left tackle and the rest at right. Some project him as a guard in the NFL, and his versatility would allow such a move. At 6-foot-4, his 33″ arm length scares some teams at tackle, but he’s so technically sound it’s not an issue for most. Expect Williams to have a long, Pro Bowl-type career protecting Allen.
