1. Mike Sainristil and fellow rookies are making big waves already

Look, Mike Sainristil has an amazing opportunity to kick in the door to start in his first season. Donovan Peoples-Jones and Tarik Black are both out with injuries on Saturday. According to everyone in Ann Arbor, Sainristil is making the big plays and impressing enough to get the nod come time to play in the fall.

This will be the perfect time for him to keep showcasing his skill set as a freshman. We might be looking at a star in the making if everything goes his way this spring. We all know how talented this offense already is. If they have a diamond in the rough, that makes this offense even more lethal for Harbaugh, Josh Gattis and Shea Patterson. How they put it all together is yet to be seen.

Sainristil isn’t the only freshman making noise in Ann Arbor. Tight end Erick All has also made an impression during spring practice and might be pressing to see more playing time when it matters the most. These freshmen will look to bring a little extra sauce to the field for the high-flying Wolverines.
