13 – DT Christian Wilkins – Miami Dolphins

Miami stays in “tank mode” while adding a top-end pass rusher. They’re in the hunt for Tua Tagovailoa in 2020, a savvy move. Grade: B

14 – OT Chris Lindstrom Atlanta Falcons

The first of two offensive linemen selected by Atlanta in the first round. The Falcons clearly had a plan and stuck to it, even if their first pick was a bit earlier than most expected. Grade: B

15 – QB Dwayne Haskins – Washington Redskins

Washington got their quarterback of the future without having to trade up. Redskins’ fans couldn’t have hoped for a better result from Thursday’s first round. Grade: B+

16 – EDGE Brian Burns – Carolina Panthers

This was the dividing line between elite pass rushers and the rest of the group. The Panthers could have been a bit more aggressive and snagged someone like Montez Sweat, but Burns will be a solid enough addition. Grade: B-

17 – DT Dexter Lawrence New York Giants

After a swing and a miss on Daniel Jones, the Giants picked up a low-floor, modest ceiling defensive lineman. With so many other holes, this wasn’t a great pick. Grade: D
