13. . OG/OC. Wisconsin. Tyler Biadasz. 18. player

The Chargers could be looking to replace Philip Rivers with this selection, but that will depend on what the team thinks about North Dakota State’s Easton Stick, who the team selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft. Do they view him as just a depth player, or do you they think he has the developmental potential to be a starting quarterback down the road?

If not a quarterback, Los Angeles might look at getting younger up front. Wisconsin produces NFL offensive linemen at a high rate, and Tyler Biadasz might be the next in a long line of early draft picks from Madison.

Biadasz is Wisconsin’s starting center. He’s a physical player up front, opening up holes in the running game for Jonathan Taylor. He was a first team All Big Ten performer as a junior last year, and probably would have been a second round pick in this year’s class.

Another good season should be enough to boost him to the forefront of the 2020 class as the top interior lineman.

The Chargers could view Biadasz as the eventual replacement for Mike Pouncey at center. Pouncey’s contract is up and he was a below average center in 2018, so it’s unlikely that his run with the Chargers will continue past next season.
