10. Navy (Nov. 16)

Playing the Navy Midshipmen has been quite a dangerous task over the past few years for the Irish.

In 2016, Navy defeated Notre Dame, 28-27. In 2017, the Irish won by a single score at home. Back in 2014 they won by 10 points and in 2013 by only four, again at home. Navy has mastered the triple-option, and if the Irish defense isn’t able to key-in on their assignments, the Midshipmen will make them pay.

Senior quarterback Malcolm Perry leads the Midshipmen on offense. He began the 2018 season as the starting quarterback, but due to a lack of production, Ken Niumatalolo moved him back to A-back (Navy’s running back/slotback position). This spring, Niumatalolo announced Perry will be back under center for the Midshipmen in 2019.

While Perry is indeed Navy’s best athlete, he is listed at only 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds. Perry has had injury issues in the past and this season may be no different. Naturally, the Midshipmen will fight hard against the Irish. But, it will not be enough.

Final: Notre Dame 38, Navy 24 (9-1)
