2. Jerry Jeudy, WR

Jerry Jeudy could become the third Alabama receiver of the Nick Saban era to be selected in the top 10 of his draft class, joining Julio Jones and Amari Cooper. Jeudy is the consensus No. 1 overall wide receiver for the 2020 class as he heads into his junior season on the heels of a monster sophomore campaign.

Jeudy won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver in 2018 after turning 68 catches into over 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns. He averaged an absurd 19.3 yards-per-reception, establishing the best QB-to-WR connection in the country with Tua Tagovailoa.

Jeudy is a do-it-all receiver who doesn’t have any noticeable flaws to his game. He’s got otherworldly footwork which allows him to run crisp routes and gain separation from defensive backs, while also allowing him to make nasty cuts that make defenders look silly as they try and tackle him in the open field.

He can take the top off of defenses with his great speed on deep routes, and he might be even better with the ball in his hands. He makes defenders miss effortlessly, with decisive cuts and footwork that would make Amari Cooper jealous.

The Odell Beckham Jr. comparisons have already begun, and while that’s a lofty standard for Jeudy to meet, it’s also not that crazy to imagine him making that kind of impact. He might not have the contested catch ability of Beckham to this point, but he’s arguably already more dangerous after the catch.
