Another stud from the first season, EMCC: Part 1, C.J. Reavis took his opportunity with the Lions and turned it into a road map to the NFL. He stood out at EMCC and earned a scholarship to Marshall University where he played for the Thundering Herd in 2016 and 2017.

Marshall was another small-time football school compared to Virginia Tech, where Reavis originally committed out of high school. Marshall wound up being the right fit for him, though. He was a key contributor in the secondary for a Herd team that won eight games in 2017.

Following the 2018 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Reavis as an undrafted free agent. He only managed one tackle during his rookie season, but he did see action in four games. Listed as a safety on the roster, Reavis could see a larger role in 2019 with the release of veteran safety Tashaun Gipson.
