4. Elijah Moore reaches 1,000 yards

Someone has to pick up the production at receiver now that AJ Brown, DK Metcalf and DaMarkus Lodge have all moved on to the NFL and Ole Miss fans don’t have to look any further than Elijah Moore.

The sophomore made an impact in the slot for the Rebels as a freshman in 2018. He played in all 12 games with 36 catches for 398 yards and two touchdowns. Expect his production to increase and with a young offensive line and quarterback Matt Corral might be looking at his slot receiver more often than not.

Rich Rodriguez’s offense does prefer the run but with a gunslinger at quarterback, the passing game is still going to be relevant.

Moore is one of the most experienced receivers on this team and he’ll have to lead that group in order for them to be successful. He’s one of the most dynamic players on the team in terms of his speed and quickness, as he also handles punt return and kickoff return duties.

I expect Moore will be making plays all over for the Rebels this season, but hitting 1,000 yards as a sophomore will be a huge accomplishment.
