1. Georgia @ Auburn (Nov. 16)

As usual, this will be the biggest game in the SEC between the divisions. It comes near the end of the SEC schedule, so a lot is on the line. Most seasons, both teams still have a chance to make the SEC Championship game, and the result of this game has a lot of say in whether or not either team can make it there.

Georgia will be returning star quarterback Jake Fromm, a pocket presence with a cannon on his shoulder. He has lost most of his top receiving targets, but he will have star running back Deandre Swift behind him to make his job easier. Of course, Georgia also has some of the top recruits in the nation every year. There will be talent at every position, and that talent will be tested by the time we get to November.

For Auburn, a strong defensive line will try to stop Swift between the tackles. That will be Auburn’s greatest strength this year. They will have multiple defensive linemen that will hope to make it into the NFL Draft in 2020.

Offensively, Auburn will have to answer a lot of questions. They struggled last year, but at least they had Jarrett Stidham to hide some of their weaknesses at the skill positions and the offensive line. With Stidham in the NFL, the next starter will have to make some plays on his own.

At the end of the day, this game will have tons of teams watching. It will have implications on the SEC race, potential New Year’s Six bowl berths, and even the College Football Playoff. Both the Auburn Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs will have Nov. 16 marked on their calendars, just like they always do.
