5. Alabama will have an elite passing attack

Alabama’s passing game will be one of the best in all of college football next season. They should have the top stats in the SEC, and the talent is abundant at every position.

The two keys to a passing game are obviously the quarterback and wide receivers. Of course, Alabama has the most talented quarterback of the Saban Era in junior Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa was second place for the Heisman Trophy last season, and he will possibly earn a second trip to New York.

At the receiver position, the Tide are as talented as ever. Jerry Jeudy can make plays at every level of the field. He has the skills to get open, the hands to catch the ball when he’s covered, and the agility to gain yards after the catch. He’s the complete package, and he will be one of the best receivers in the NCAA next season.

Past Jeudy is Henry Ruggs. Ruggs is one of the fastest men in college football. He has the hands to make plays, but his greatest talent is the speed down the field. It pairs extremely well with Jerry Jeudy as Jeudy plays underneath the safeties and Ruggs takes the top off of the defense.

Other than the dynamic duo at receiver, look for Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle to make some noise. Both have tremendous speed that keeps up with Ruggs. The tight end position will take some development for helping in the passing game, but Cameron Latu might surprise some people early in the season.
