3. Kendall Milton, 5-star RB

Running back is always a position of need for the Crimson Tide in every recruiting class. They have recruited stars like Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Derrick Henry, Najee Harris and Trey Sanders. Kendall Milton might be the next stud for the Tide if they manage to steal him.

The pain with being an Alabama running back is the fact that you have to wait your turn for one to three years before you’re the star. However, that might be a blessing in disguise. NFL scouts don’t want to draft workhorse backs from college for fear that they will overwork themselves and be injury prone. Just ask Josh Jacobs, a first-round back from Alabama that had fewer carries in his career than most have in a season.

No matter when Milton saw the field, he would be a star in a crimson uniform. At 6-2, 220 pounds, he has the size to avoid injuries and break tackles in the SEC.

Alabama will put the full-court press on recruiting Milton this summer and fall. He only has one of his six crystal balls going to Alabama right now, but that could easily change this summer. Once he gets a chance to visit Tuscaloosa and get closer with the staff, he might give them more consideration.

Although there won’t be a specific need for a running back in this class after signing Trey Sanders in 2019, Milton is simply too talented to pass up on if you can convince him to join the Tide.
