With Notre Dame football continuing to make progress through the offseason, here are five bold predictions for the team as we head further into summer.
Heading into the summer, we’ve nearly reached that stretch where football tends to become an afterthought. Both the NBA and NHL playoffs are nearing their respective peaks while the MLB continues to tread through a long season.
If that isn’t enough, a significant amount of lingering football talk typically concerns those who just left college for the NFL via the draft.
It’s at these times that we find ourselves at risk for letting the excitement of the college football season fall away. With athletes heading back home for their relatively short summer breaks, college football usually finds itself on the back-burner outside of a few offseason news flares.
Nevertheless, there’s no time like the present to conjure up some predictions for the 2019 season.
Bold predictions, as we like to call them, are those that, while possible, would be extraordinary or improbable feats. There will be no shortage of those in this article, so let’s get to it.
