Seattle, Wash.. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. 3. player. Pick Analysis. Sept. 14. 898. Scouting Report

Hawaii helped kick off the 2018 season and that’s when Cole McDonald really made a name for himself as a sophomore quarterback. He finished the season with 3,875 yards and 36 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions and helped lead the Rainbow Warriors to an 8-6 record.

The Rainbow Warriors will be a tough opponent for the Huskies, but luckily this game will be at home and the Washington offense will be gelling at the right time — the same can be said for the Huskies’ secondary which struggled in the opener against Eastern Washington.

That secondary will have its toughest test of the season in Week 3 against McDonald, though, and it will step up to the plate.

McDonald won’t be able to reach the 300-yard mark and will end up throwing three interceptions on his way to a disappointing showing on the big stage.

Salvon Ahmed will have a big game on the ground for the Huskies while Jacob Eason and Aaron Fuller connect eight times for over 100 yards.

Final Score: Hawaii 20, Washington 37 (3-0)
