Texas A&M is going to need a breather after the rigors of the first half of their SEC schedule. A home date against UTSA will be the perfect occasion to give a few starters some relaxed playing time and get ahead on their preparations for what could be a monumental November.

The cliched football coach will tell you they don’t overlook any of their opponents, but the offensive struggles of UTSA kept them from scoring points. A team which averaged less than 20 points per contest won’t stand a chance against a bonafide SEC offense, especially one with the quick strike potential of Texas A&M.

UTSA will have to overachieve to reach a bowl game in 2019. If the offense can improve, they’ll be able to push some teams in the middle tier of Conference USA. Hanging with the top teams in the SEC isn’t possible. They’ll cash their check and the Aggies will chalk up another victory.

Record: 8-1 (5-0)
