Clemson did what few teams in recent college football history have done, exposing Alabama as mortal, when they knocked off the Crimson Tide to win the national championship. Texas A&M lost to both College Football Playoff participants last season, but the Aggies are a year older and a year wiser.

Following a second shot at Clemson, Texas A&M breaks through with the biggest win Kyle Field has seen since the Aggies join the SEC. This is the year the Aggies take down the Tide in Texas.

Alabama returns an abundance of talent on offense, but so does Texas A&M. The biggest question marks will be the secondaries, both of which were exposed at time last season. Kendrick Rogers and Quartney Davis combined for nine catches and 97 yards against Alabama last season. They’re going to need to double that to keep pace in 2019, but each has shown they have the potential to be the go-to guy for Mond in a pinch.

Texas A&M is going to be able to score. If they can turn this into a shootout, it’s anybody’s game. This time the Aggies get it done.

Record: 5-1 (3-0)
