Delany has been in charge of the Big Ten since 1989, and was the elder statesmen of conference commissioners.
We talk about not only Delany’s impact on the conference he helmed for 30 years, but his larger impact on the sport as a whole. Delaney helped revolutionize the sport with the introduction of the BCS system, and his role in conference expansion shaped the college football landscape as we currently see it.
