1. Georgia Bulldogs

The toughest game for Notre Dame football this season is easily against the Georgia Bulldogs. One of these teams has been in the College Football Playoff each of the last two years, and this might be the third.

With Georgia losing all of their proven receiver talent, there might be a weakness in the passing game that Notre Dame can exploit defensively. However, don’t expect Jake Fromm to have a lot of turnovers. He is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country. If any receiver can get open, Fromm will find them.

Georgia will also be running the ball consistently with D’Andre Swift. If Georgia can consistently get five yards a carry, they will be hard to stop marching down the field. If Notre Dame isn’t careful, their offense will have to be electric to keep up with the Bulldogs.

These two teams played against each other at Notre Dame two seasons ago, and Georgia came away with the victory. Both teams are noticeably different since that game, but Georgia is returning the quarterback in Fromm. Fromm has only gotten better, so Notre Dame will have to be prepared on defense.

I honestly believe that Georgia’s roster is more talented at this point. Both teams have questions, but the tandem of Swift and Fromm is nearly unstoppable. Add in the fact that this is a home game for Georgia, and Notre Dame is significantly behind the 8-ball.
