If the ball bounced the right way for the Bobcats last season, they might have been the MAC champs. Two close loses against Northern Illinois and Miami (OH) cost them that opportunity.

They lost some key pieces along their offensive line, receiver, running back and on defense. However they do have some young talent and an experienced trigger man at quarterback.

Even more important, Frank Solich will have his squad ready to play and with Buffalo losing their quarterback to the NFL draft, the Bobcats have every opportunity to represent the MAC Eastern division in the MAC championship game.
