As the landmark that football season is just around the corner, SEC Football Media Days has arrived. What’re the biggest storylines this year?

SEC Media Days are one of the landmark moments of the college football season. Every year, this is the event that tells you football is here. The entirety of the conference descends upon Hoover, Alabama, as we round the final turn into the regular season.

Every year, there are storylines abound. This event is, after all, a whole lot of talking. This is where we gauge the coaches, the state of the programs, and everything in between.

There are five big storylines this year, but here are a few honorable mentions.

Will Texas A&M emerge this year?

A two-point loss to Clemson, which the Aggies could have won if not for a late officiating decision, sparked momentum in College Station. It will be exciting to see if this program emerges to challenge for second place in the SEC West.

Will Kelly Bryant have success at Missouri?

Kelly Bryant started in a College Football Playoff game just two seasons ago. Now, he’s a grad transfer who will start at a Missouri program with a postseason ban. The Tigers run a spread, NFL-type attack, so this can be a really fun team in 2019.

What’s up with the LSU Offense?

This is obligatory. It’s the question that is asked year after year. Will there be any semblance of offense in the bayou? Joe Burrow has brought stability to this unit, but will this offense be particularly great? History doesn’t vouch for it.
