Scott Satterfield will get improved play at QB

Scott Satterfield was previously the head coach at Appalachian State before accepting the same position at Louisville. While coaching The Mountaineers he got very good quarterback play as he coached Taylor Lamb, who is second in App State program history in passing yards and first in passing touchdowns.

The new head coach also coached Zac Thomas last year who was the Sun Belt Offensive Player of The Year. This should give Louisville fans optimism and hope that he can come in and help the Louisville quarterbacks.

Both Cunningham and Pass bring different abilities to the table, but they each have potential.

Hopefully they got the majority of their growing pains out last year and are ready to build off that 2018 season. I honestly think this new coaching staff will be huge in their development and that Louisville could surprise some teams this year, which would be largely due to the improved quarterback play they will get this year.

Louisville opens up against Notre Dame the first game of the season and then they play Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky the following weeks. If they can stay competitive against Notre Dame and then handle both Eastern and Western Kentucky, they should have a solid quarterback in place by the end of the first three weeks.
