4. Willie Taggart, Florida State

Just to put the high expectations Florida State has for Willie Taggart into perspective, consider this: the two previous coaches that came before him both won at least one national title during their time with the Seminoles.

Also, national titles aside, both Bobby Bowden and Jimbo Fisher had winning percentages above .700 — while Taggart only managed to post a .417 percentage during his first season in Tallahassee.

The good news is the ACC is weak enough that there’s no reason for the Seminoles to have to go below .500 again this season. That said, Taggart’s offense last year only scored 21 points a game, which was ranked 113th and his defense gave up over 30 points per game, which was 90th in the nation.

These numbers are so concerning it’s unlikely Taggart has what it takes to succeed at FSU. Don’t be surprised if 2019 is Willie’s last year in Tallahassee as the fans become increasingly impatient and downright embarrassed of what he’s done to their Noles.
