The departure of Daniel Jones from the Duke Blue Devils is likely to result in a rough year for the team. Somehow, the senior quarterback went underneath the radar of everyone except the New York Giants.

The Blue Devils went 8-5 last season win the majority of their wins being against non-conference opponents. As Notre Dame comes to town, the Blue Devils aren’t going to be playing for much except maybe to become bowl eligible.

While bowl eligibility is valuable to many, as a member of the ACC, a bowl game is simply a consolation prize. Due to the lack of motivation of the Blue Devils, and inherent desire to win by the Irish, the result of this game is inevitable.

Final: Notre Dame 35, Duke 10 (8-1)
