The Louisville Cardinals appear to be in the “Lamar Jackson slump”. It seems like absolutely nothing went well for the Cardinals in 2018.

Even after the 10th game of the year, the team rashly decided to fire their legendary coach, Bobby Petrino. This left them with Lorenzo Ward as the interim coach to finish off the season.

Now, Louisville has Scott Satterfield leading the team as he was hired over the offseason from Appalachian State. He has a solid track record coming from App State, however the ACC is a completely different ball game.

As the Irish begin the season, they will be eager to get off on the right foot and redeem themselves from their last game. This should be a blowout and a confidence booster for Notre Dame.

With that said, Satterfield won’t have any problem improving the Cardinals’ record from last year of 2-10.

Final: Notre Dame 28, Louisville 3 (1-0)
