Upset alert? Yes and no. Do I think Notre Dame has any chance of losing a home game to Bowling Green? Absolutely, positively, not.

However, there are going to be tons of people, come the week of Oct. 5, that are going to be calling for a Bowling Green win. Frankly, it will not matter who is hurt for the Irish, how well Bowling Green is playing, how poor the referees call the game, or any combination of circumstances that could lead to an Irish loss.

The fact that this game is played in front of the incredible Notre Dame fans is all that needs to be said to know a Bowling Green Falcons win is impossible. Having played in this stadium, I can attest that Notre Dame Stadium is one of the toughest places to play in all of college football.

With a new coach and a poor defense, the Falcons do not have the recipe to pull of an upset over anyone in 2019, let alone Notre Dame.

Final: Bowling Green 3, Notre Dame 48 (4-1)
