The Scott Frost era got off to a miserable start last season. However, everything is setting up for a turnaround and resurgence of Nebraska football.

Perceived as one of the best coaching hires after the 2017 regular season, Scott Frost united the entire Husker fan base when he arrived back in Lincoln. Unfortunately, Frost home was burglarized right before fall camp. Not to mention Nebraska’s first game was cancelled because of inclement weather and Frost led the program to its’ first 0-6 start in school history.

It was not the ideal beginning Frost had in mind for his alma mater and all the hype quickly vanished into thin air. Still, after cutting down on the penalties and turnovers the Huskers were able to win four of their final six games of last season.

Frost kept the momentum going and signed his second-straight top-20 recruiting class and had several true freshman participate in spring ball. Now Nebraska is receiving a lot of buzz again and expected to be the favorites in the Big Ten West.

The 2019 season has the potential to be a special one for ‘Go Big Red’ and here are five bold predictions for Nebraska that’ll get Husker fanatics adrenaline pumping for this fall.
