2. Nebraska goes undefeated at home for first time since 2016

The Huskers lost their first three home games last season for the first time since 1957. Nothing like hearing the silence of disappointment in a stadium that packs nearly 90,000 fans. However, the fans will be pumped up for every game inside the ‘Sea of Red’ this fall and the nation’s longest sellout streak will continue at Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska will make a statement to the nation that the program has arrived against South Alabama. Northern Illinois will walk into a hornet’s nest in game three and revenge will be on every Huskers’ mind.

ESPN College GameDay will be in Lincoln when Nebraska takes on Ohio State, which will result in the first signature win of the Frost era. Nebraska will take care of business against Northwestern early on and by the end of the game everyone will be on the team’s bandwagon.

Week 8 against Indiana will be labeled as a potential trap game, but Nebraska will come out inspired and take care of business. Nebraska will finally snap its’ seven-game losing streak to the Badgers with a blowout win over Wisconsin. Finally, the regular-season finale against Iowa will send all the Husker seniors off with a memorable, hard-fought victory.
