Until last year, Florida State had won five straight games in this rivalry. Last year ended that streak as Florida won comfortably 41-14. Florida ended up with 10 wins last year and have hopes of upsetting Georgia this season and winning the SEC East.

While winning the SEC East will be tough for Florida, they should have another solid ball club with another double digit win season.

Both teams will be coming off of bye weeks entering this game and both should be ranked in the top 25. This will have the state of Florida excited for this match up and the winner will have bragging rights for a year.

The game will start off slow as each team will try to avoid being the first to make a mistake. Florida State’s offense will eventually strike, followed by Florida’s offense. Florida State’s best chance to win this game will be to rely on their offense and control the clock. After a slow first half, the second half will be back in forth with Florida taking a lead in the fourth quarter and pulling away at the end.
