The good news is Florida State is 4-1 heading into a game against one of the top two best teams in the nation. The bad news is they have to play one of the best teams in the nation away from home. Florida State hasn’t beaten Clemson since 2014 and last year they got destroyed by the Tigers by a score of 59-10.

Florida State will have some momentum coming off of back-to-back ACC victories and sitting at 4-1. Maybe they will even be ranked in the top 25 at this point — who truly knows? This will give Florida State some confidence that they can play with Clemson and keep up with them.

However, Clemson will quickly end this thought and will be in control of the whole game.

This will be a wake-up call for Florida State that while they may be improving, they are still several steps behind Clemson. The Tigers will be in control the whole game, but Florida State will keep fighting and keep doing just enough to keep viewers engaged and showing they have some fight to them that they didn’t have last year.

Final Score: Florida State 20, Clemson 41 (4-2, 2-2)
