Florida State has won seven straight games against Wake Forest, including last year. Wake Forest ended up going to a bowl game last year and finished 7-6, but Florida State beat the Demon Deacons 38-17 last year which may have been the Seminoles best game of the year.

Wake Forest has shown that they are no longer a punching bag in the ACC and will be competitive in most games as the Demon Deacons will be looking to go to their fourth straight bowl game. They have two talented quarterbacks competing for the starting job and have a solid head coach in Dave Clawson who will have his team ready to play.

I expect Wake Forest to go bowling again and have a legit shot at eight wins, however, Florida State comes in and escapes with a victory. In a game that will go down to the wire, the Seminoles find a way to win as Cam Akers carries the team for a bounce-back win after the loss to Clemson.

Final Score: Florida State 35, Wake Forest 31 (5-2, 3-2)
