After back-to-back road games, the Seminoles come back home to play a big game against Syracuse. Last year, Syracuse won 30-7 in Week 3 three of the regular season and it went on to have one of the best years in program history as the Orange reached 10 wins.

More from Florida State Seminoles

Syracuse will be breaking in a new quarterback as they lose one of their all time greats, Eric Dungey. He was a big reason why Syracuse got to 10 wins as he was dangerous running and throwing the ball.

The Orange will still be competitive as head coach Dino Babers will be doing all he can to ensure that they do not let off. It will be hard to match last year’s win total, but the 7-8 win range is more than realistic for them to end up there.

However, one of their wins this year won’t be coming against the Seminoles as the home crowd in Tallahassee will be excited and pumped up for this one. As long as Florida State is focused on this game without its eyes looking ahead against Miami the following week, it should come out on top.

Final Score: Syracuse 30, Florida State 42 (6-2, 4-2)
