After facing their two toughest opponents back-to-back, Iowa State will gladly welcome the Kansas Jayhawks. Iowa State will be starving for a win and will need to win its last two games to have a shot at a Big 12 Championship Game berth.

While it’s possible Iowa State ends up losing a close game to a lower-tier Big 12 team, it won’t be Kansas.

I do expect the Jayhawks to be improved and unlike a lot of people in the media, I think Les Miles will help turn the program around, but beating Iowa State in Ames isn’t on the table for Kansas in 2019.

Iowa State will win this game and be in control throughout. While this game won’t be a blowout, the game will never be in doubt.

Final Score: Kansas 20, Iowa State 38 (9-2, 6-2)
