Can TCU football contend in the Big 12 with a new quarterback, and players back from injuries? If healthy, the Horned Frogs will be a problem.

TCU’s injury issues were so bad last season that it had a kicker playing defensive end in practice. All-in-all the Horned Frogs had 22 players miss time last season due to injury.

The only benefit to having so many players hurt is that young guys get playing time, and you have  that much more of an experienced team coming into the next season.

The Frogs, however, are a team that usually bounces back after mediocre seasons. It took a win in the most entertaining bad game of all time for TCU to have a winning season in 2018.

Like I said, the Frogs have been a bounce-back team under Gary Patterson.

In fact, they followed their last mediocre season (6-7 in 2016) with an 11-win 2017. Can the Horned Frogs bounce back this season?

Here’s a look at their offense, defense and a prediction of how TCU will finish in 2019.
