The Bulldogs will get a nice bye week after their win against Arkansas, but will have to host Alabama next. Alabama will most likely be undefeated at this point and just coming off a close win against LSU. If there is a time for Alabama to slip up, it’s after a hard-fought game against the Tigers.

However, with Nick Saban as the Tide’s head coach, the team should be more than focused. Like most teams in the SEC, the Bulldogs have a long losing streak to Alabama as they have lost 11 straight. If Alabama doesn’t come in focused, this is the perfect spot for the Bulldogs to end that streak.

The Bulldogs strike first in front of an energized home crowd. Their defense is playing well and it is a tied game going into half. However, when the second half rolls around, Alabama starts to build a lead. Their defense holds the Bulldogs offense in check and Alabama’s talent on offense is just too much.

The Bulldogs fight hard, but can’t end the streak of 11 straight losses.

Final Score: Alabama 34, Mississippi State 13 (5-5, 2-5)
