Last year, Mississippi State dominated Kansas State for a 31-10 victory. This year, the Wildcats look a lot different.

Legendary coach Bill Snyder will no longer be on the sidelines as the Wildcats will be relying on new head coach Chris Klieman to lead them back to relevancy. They also return junior quarterback Skylar Thompson who will take over as full-time starter as he had shared that duty with Alex Delton the past two seasons — Delton has since transferred to TCU.

While it’s up in the air how Kansas State will be as a team, it should be tough and compete the whole game.

Mississippi State will be dominate up front and will slowly wear down the Wildcats, though. The Wildcats’ offense won’t get much going, but it will take until the fourth quarter for the Bulldogs and their offense to pull away.

It’ll be a close game until the fourth quarter when Mississippi State gets two touchdowns. This will be a defense-dominated game.

Final Score: Kansas State 13, Mississippi State 28 (3-0)
