The Bulldogs are finally back at home and get LSU coming to town who will be coming off of a big win against Florida. LSU beat the Bulldogs last year 19-3 and if it wasn’t for the Bulldogs defense bending but not breaking, the score would have been worse.

LSU could be one of the best teams in college football this year and if the offense successfully changes to more of a run-pass option attack like what has been reported, the Tigers could find themselves in the College Football Playoff.

With that said, they still have a difficult schedule in the SEC and will be going up against a Bulldog team starving for a win.

The Bulldogs offensive success from the game prior will roll over against LSU, but won’t last long as the Tigers make the adjustment on defense and shuts out the Mississippi State offense the entire second half.

The Bulldogs defense again keeps them in the game but eventually LSU’s offense is too much and the Tigers leave Starkville with a convincing win.

Final Score: LSU 31, Mississippi State 13 (4-3, 1-3)
