13. University of Texas: Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium

When it comes to college football, there are very few programs that are as recognizable as the Texas Longhorns. While the program has produced countless iconic players, including Ricky Williams and Earl Campbell, their stadium, Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, is just as iconic.

Named after former head coach Darrell K Royal, who led the Longhorns to three national titles, Texas Memorial Stadium is not only one of the biggest in college football, but also in the world. The eighth-biggest stadium in all the United States, the stadium in the ninth biggest in the entire world. The Longhorns have certainly had their fair share of success inside those walls.

From 1924 through November 2018, the Longhorns football program has won 76.4 percent of its games at home, which is a pretty ridiculous statistic when you figure that it is nearly a 95-year span. That is a lot of good football, and with a capacity of 100,119, you can be sure that it gets very loud for opposing teams when they are taking on the Longhorns at home.

During their 37-14 victory over the USC Trojans during the 2018 college football season, the stadium saw its biggest crowd ever, as the attendance for that matchup was 103,507.

Whether it is the student section dedicated to WWI veterans or the 81×136-foot scoreboard, Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium has one of the better atmospheres in college football. Oh yeah, they are also expanding the south end zone soon as well.
